About

What is SEXponsibly?

The talk about sex education is highly stigmatized globally, especially in our country. The Philippines faces a critical need for accessible and engaging sex education. Early teenage pregnancy rates remain alarmingly high. For example, according to thePhilippine Statistics Authority (2023), about 5.4% of girls aged 15 to 19 got pregnant in 2022.

Up until this day, a lot still see this topic as “sensitive;” “conservative,” “unjust”, or “weird” to talk about. This leaves us, especially young people vulnerable to misinformation, risky behaviors, and potentially devastating consequences.

Hence, SEXPONSIBLY aims to slash taboos and healthily discuss sexual health- as this is a natural part of a human being that should also be taken care of. SEXPONSIBLY aims to offer accessible discussion about Sex Education open for all ages, especially the youth of this generation.

"Join us in breaking the silence and empowering the youth with the knowledge they deserve for healthy and fulfilling lives."

We value respect for oneself and others, emphasizing consent, boundaries, and individual dignity.
